Description:

HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is a naturally occurring glycoprotein hormone composed of two non-covalently linked subunits: an alpha subunit shared with other pituitary hormones, and a beta subunit that provides HCG its unique biological activity. In research environments, HCG is studied for its ability to activate luteinizing hormone (LH) receptors, stimulating downstream signaling pathways associated with steroidogenesis and reproductive physiology.
