Directions: Apply serum onto skin as needed. Gently massage serum into skin for 30-60 seconds.

The GHK-Cu + SNAP-8 + Hyaluronic Acid Serum combines three studied actives to support skin appearance and hydration. GHK-Cu (Copper Tripeptide-1) has been shown in research to promote collagen synthesis and improve skin elasticity through its role in cellular signaling and tissue remodeling. SNAP-8 (Acetyl Octapeptide-3) is a peptide complex often studied as a topical alternative to neuromodulators, targeting the reduction of dynamic expression lines by helping to minimize muscle contraction intensity. Complementing these peptides, Hyaluronic Acid delivers multi-layer hydration, supporting a plump and smooth appearance.

INGREDIENTS:

GHK-Copper (GHK-Cu): GHK-Cu occurs naturally in humans, in fact, it is utilized by our body to heal wounds. Studies show that GHK-Cu administered to diabetic patients with skin wounds healed 40% more quickly and reduced further infections. GHK-Cu’s role is a collagen restructuring agent. It binds to water and regulates water movement throughout skin. GHK-Cu has also been clinically proven to reduce wrinkle depth by increasing HA and collagen production, which overall, increases skin density.

SNAP-8 peptide: or Acetyl Glutamyl Heptapeptide-1, is an advanced neuropeptide derived from Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide-3). It was designed to enhance the wrinkle-reducing effects of Argireline while providing an even more potent ability to inhibit muscle contractions that cause expression lines. 

As part of the peptides in the skincare category, SNAP-8 works by reducing the depth of wrinkles caused by facial movements, such as frowning, smiling, or squinting. Scientifically, SNAP-8 functions by mimicking a fragment of the SNAP-25 protein, which plays a crucial role in neurotransmitter release. SNAP-8 helps reduce muscle contraction signals in the skin by interfering with the SNARE complex involved in neurotransmitter release. Simply, when facial muscles contract,  expression lines form. SNAP-8 softens the signal telling those muscles to contract so the skin looks smoother and more relaxed over time

Hyaluronic Acid (HA): HA is found in many tissues of the body. HA is virtually biocompatible to all areas of our extracellular matrix of tissues that make up our skin. It is also the key ingredient to hydrating and lubricating skin. HA’s role in our serum is a hydroscopic agent which creates an environment necessary for cellular growth and healing. Human bodies typically produce 5grams of HA daily.

Isosorbide Dimethyl Isosorbide (DMI): DMI is a derivative of com sugar. It can increase the absorption of many active ingredients through the skin. It has been extensively researched and has been shown to enhance penetration to the upper layer epidermis. DMI’s role is a transdermal agent. Facial serum 4x contains 4 peptides that are normally difficult to absorb through the skin without a transdermal agent because they bond to fat molecules in skin. DMI has been specifically formulated to transport peptides through fat in the skin so the peptides can be carried through the skin’s membrane and become readily absorbed. DMI will not carry peptides past the dermal layer, thus prohibiting blood absorption.

Vegetable Glycerine (VG): VG is a natural sugar alcohol used in medical, pharmaceutical and personal care preparations. It is metabolized in the body as a carbohydrate. VG’s role in our serum is a humectant to further moisturize and synergize other hydrating agents in the formulation.

Milli Q Water: Mili Q water is ultra pure water, necessary for the formulation of 4x to eliminate any unnecessary reactions of compounds. Milli Q water is autoclaved and then sterile filtered with peptides through a 0.22 micron membrane.

Dipeptide (DBD): is a highly effective alternative to surgery, facial peels and commonly used injectables for the the reduction of wrinkles. According to the Journal of Clinical Aesthetic Dermatology, during a three month study, Dipeptide DBD has been shown to significantly reduce wrinkles in all applicable age groups. Dipeptide DBD’s role in our serum is to serve as a muscle attenuator. Its mechanism limits the bonding of specific neurotransmitters that are responsible for the intensity of facial muscle contraction wrinkles so muscles stay relaxed and skin wrinkles are resolved.

Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 (PP3): PP3 is a derivative of natural forming Collagen I. According to The Journal of Biochemical Studies, laboratory cultures containing PP3 stimulated cellular fibroblasts production to aide in skin healing and anti-wrinkling.” PP3’s role in our serum is a collagen recouping agent Collagens are essential proteins for skin as they are important to structure and function. Thin and wrinkled skin are typical signs of aging and are a result of reduced collagen, which is why older adults take longer to heal from injuries. PP3 can increase collagen production, has been proven effective in the reduction of wrinkles and helps skin appear smooth and consistent.

Hexapeptide-9 (H9): H9 is a clinically proven peptide that enhances skin repair and collagen synthesis, which are essential to decreasing wrinkles. According to studies, H9 has tissue repairing properties used in acne infected skin to dramatically decrease the amount of scaring by 40% in a 30 day trial H9’s role in our serum is a skin cell regenerator. Most scar and acne products work by reducing inflammation of the affected area, however, cellular regeneration and tissue repair must be used to reduce the probability of scaring. H9 can help to significantly reduce scaring and regenerate skin cells for clarity and a youthful appearance.

Dimethyl-amino-ethanol (DMAE): DMAE is a naturally formed compound in the body. In one 16 week study, DMAE was shown to mitigate forehead lines and preorbital fine wrinkles in patients.

DMAE’s role in our serum is to give the skin a more firm and youthful appearance. DMAE is safe and effective in proper doses. It can also help reduce age spots, soothe irritated skin and improve facial muscle tone.

Optiphen: is a complete preservative system and is paraben free and formaldehyde free. It is effective against both Gram-Positive and Gram-negative bacteria, mold, and yeast. Our serum ingredients are nutrients for all living organisms, including bacteria. Optiphen’s role in our serum is to prohibit bacterial invasion on peptide nourishment. It is accepted worldwide as a safe preservative.
